2. Sulfates can be found in skin care products and even in shampoos. Another name they go by is Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which is a coconut derived foaming agent. It is a very irritating substance that you do not want to use on your skin.
3. Alcohols are drying and irritate your skin. You should now confuse these with vegetable waxes which can sometimes be referred to as vegetable alcohols. The forms that are good and are natural waxes are called stearyl and cetearyl alcohol.
